15,000 Origami Birds Form The Lunar Cycle in Paris
There's nothing as magical and meaningful to us as beautiful, creative work that ties together art, science and social awareness. This recently-produced mural in France is right up our street.
French artist Mademoiselle Maurice produced the “The Lunar Cycle” in collaboration with the French Mathgoth Gallerie. It's a temporary piece composed of 15,000 colorful origami birds that form the cycles of the Moon against a Paris building's dark wall.
The mural pays tribute to the hundreds of residents who were temporarily uprooted from the building due to its upcoming demolition.
