Dozens Of Perfectly Preserved Dinosaur Eggs Have Been Found in China!
An astonishing treasure has been unearthed entirely by chance in China this week. Construction workers upgrading a road discovered a clutch of 43 dinosaur eggs in a region noted for its remarkable concentration of fossils. Located in Guangdong province, Heyuan is known as the "Home of the Dinosaurs."
Of the 43 fossilised dinosaur eggs discovered, 19 remain completely intact. The dino eggs are pretty hefty, with one measuring 13cm (5.1 inches) in diameter. Scientists at the Chinese Academy of Sciences will now examine the eggs in the hopes of determining which species of dinosaur they belonged to.
